THE NAGAMI TREE

Designed by Nagami for The Line at NEOM, The Nagami Tree responds to the ambitious vision of Zero Gravity Urbanism, a radical rethinking of spatial organisation in vertical cities. Set within the context of The Line, a proposed 170 kilometre linear city in Saudi Arabia designed to house 9 million residents, the project introduces a modular structure that facilitates and celebrates plant growth in high density vertical environments. Built and exhibited in Dubai, the installation explores the intersection of technology, architecture and ecology. As part of the exhibition, I created a film that complements the physical structure, bringing the concept to life through movement, atmosphere and narrative.
